iCloud email settings Guide

iCloud provides a platform to arrange, send, and receive emails through the iCloud mailing account. iCloud mail setup enables you to access your account, using the mailing app from wherever you are and whichever device you’re using the iOS on, be it an iPhone, an iPad, iPod touch, your Mac computer, or Microsoft Windows. You can create an iCloud Mail account using its user-friendly guide by following these steps:

Step 1Go to www.icloud.com/mail and sign in using your Apple ID.

Step 2- Follow the two-step verification process and enter the received 6-digit code. Click Continue. Click on the feature’s name using Account Settings, for example, Mail.

If you do not have an iCloud email, turn on Mail in iOS or iMac settings and type in your preferred username.

iCloud email settings come with a range of features. This service can:

  • Help you stay protected from spams
  • Offer a two-factor authentication for a higher security
  • Let you unsubscribe from the unwanted emails in just a few clicks
  • Offer to create your own customized automated message if you want to inform people you’re away by setting a message
  • Most of all, Apple does not sift through your emails ever which makes using iCloud email settings the most reliable and private experience, unlike any other email service.

  1. Why is my iCloud email not working with Outlook?

– If you are unable to receive or send mail, re-run the iCloud email settings. Alternatively, you may choose to close the application Outlook. Then, sign out of the iCloud app for Windows. Now, Sign in again, and restart the Outlook application.

  1. Does iCloud automatically sync?

– The answers depend on a few conditions which need to be met. The device must be switched on but locked and attached to a power source. If so, the iCloud will automatically create a backup of your data on your iOS or any other device via Wi-Fi, each day.
